Junk offender: PhotoScape

Isn’t it about time program makers stopped trying to trick people into installing Google Chrome? I think this underhand practice should have been banned years ago. However, the people behind image-editing software PhotoScape appear to disagree.

Described by its developer as “fun and easy photo), it certainly looks different to other tools of its type, with a tabbed, browser-like interface and friendly-looking icons for tasks such as editing, printing and so on. It all feels a bit amateurish if I’m honest. But, that aside, I’ve nothing particularly against the program itself.
