Nero helps me bridge digital divide

Thanks for a great magazine. I’m not sure I could survive without it, especially as I provide some IT support to a debt-advice charity.

As soon as I received Issue 596, I was attracted to the Cover Feature (‘Software You Should Never Install’, pictured above right), largely because I purchased Nero Platinum Suite last year, and it was one of the programs you said we shouldn’t use! If I only used it to burn discs, then it would be a rip-off, but it does a bit more than that. In particular, I can use it to edit videos.

The Covid pandemic has emphasised the digital divide, which I have always been passionate about. Many people who live alone and who do not have access to the internet are at an even greater disadvantage than before. Many of these people have DVD players.
