Even at the best of times, most of us need to move a bit more. But lockdown has made staying in shape noticeably difficult. That walk to the pub on a Friday night still had a positive effect even if the subsequent eight pints didn’t. So, how can we keep active? Mark Twain once said: “Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection” But he lived in the Middle Ages, when people stayed fit by running away from dinosaurs, so it’s probably irrelevant.
