CF BUYING RESTORING How to Repair front seats

Collapsed or sunken seats are bad for posture and bad for driving. This quick guide is meant as an aid to rectify such faults. The seat used here for demonstration purposes had good covers and base diaphragm, which were reused.

Don’t avoid repairing a seat. Their construction usually means all you require are basic tools to carry out the job. Check steel seat frames for cracks and fractures. Weld these securely before continuing. GRP
