Almost a year to the day since they last stepped out as senior working members of the royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will open up about their new life in America to Oprah Winfrey, the world’s most famous chat-show host.
Recorded last week as the couple officially relinquished their royal patronages and Prince Harry his military appointments, the interview is being billed by broadcaster CBS as an “intimate conversation” but is expected to make headlines around the world.
Meghan will give a “wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a royal, marriage and motherhood, and her philanthropic work, to how she is handling life under intense public pressure”.
