Every Ford fan should drive a Mk2 Focus ST. In fact, every Ford fan should own an ST at some time in their lives.

The Focus ST225 – so-called due to its 225PS (222bhp) powerplant – is the epitome of a fast Ford. It’s cheap to buy, easy to live with, great to drive and capable of enormous power. Nothing else comes close.

Launched in September 2005, the second-generation ST-badged Focus offered humdrum three- or five-door hatchback bodywork and a Volvo-sourced 2522cc engine. With a KKK turbo, the five-cylinder Focus growled its way to 60mph in 6.5 seconds and 150mph top speed.
