    Moorsline to give debut to rebuilt Beavertail observation car 1729

    THE NorthYorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) is set to be the first line to run showpiece LNER Beavertail observation car No.1729 – the subject of one of the most impressive carriage restorations in the 70-year history of the heritage sector.

    The NYMR, home to the LNER Carriage Association’s teak fleet, is the first line to book No. 1729, which has been returned to as-built 1937 condition under the ownership of multi-millionaire locomotive owner Jeremy Hosking’s Royal Scot Locomotive & General Trust (RSLGT).
