In 2021, the next iteration of wearable devices measuring key indicators of emotional shifts use biometrics such as voice, heart rate and temperature. Apple leads the focus on wellbeing with built-in sleep monitoring, heart-rate tracker, and the Breathe app embedded into its Apple Watch, while a host of other devices are also attempting to decode our feelings. Last year, Amazon announced it’s working on a fitness band called Halo fitted with a mini microphone that listens (à la Alexa)
