Range-ing through wind, rain and cold

While the parts of the country explored during the 2020 Ford Travelogue most certainly put on their Sunday best in terms of spectacular scenery, this was certainly no leisurely Sunday afternoon drive… But that is exactly the way we like it! Much of the route selected by Ford’s PR team was off-road, which meant that small mistakes could potentially have big consequences.

The trip saw us follow the Olifants River from the Blyde River Canyon, over the Orrie Baragwanath Pass, to Loskop Dam, through Middelburg and back to Gauteng. Ford also took the opportunity to introduce its latest Ranger offering, the XL Sport, which we got to drive during our three-day excursion.

Day 1
