Men are notoriously bad at thinking about their health – proven by recent research* that shows women are just as likely to look up symptoms and treatments for a male-only cancer as men.
Prostate cancer affects about one in eight men in the UK and is much more common in over-55s. The five-year survival rate is around 86%, according to Cancer Research UK. But that doesn’t mean it’s not a worrying time. Here, two experts explain what women need to know.
