‘I wanted make-up that catered for older women like me’
Tricia Cusden, 73, and her daughters, Anna, 46, and Suzy, 43, are from London. They launched their beauty brand, Look Fabulous Forever, in 2013, which has been hugely successful and is sold around the world from its website.
THE IDEA
Tricia: In 2012, I had retired from my job as a management consultant. Then my younger daughter, Suzy, gave birth to my granddaughter, India, who was diagnosed with a rare chromosome disorder. It was a traumatic time and I spent my days supporting Suzy and her family. By the end of the year, India’s health had improved, and things had got back to normal. But by then, I was feeling directionless and in need of a challenge, so one night I decided to write down all the things I loved.
