She first got a digital camera when her children were small, but since they’ve grown up she’s spent more time photographing the flowers in her garden and the local coast. She is a scientist by training and enjoys modern technology, but has never really used her camera beyond Automatic mode, or used flash lights for indoor shots, so is keen to explore its full potential.
