KRISTEN STEWART TAKES THE CROWN WITH NEW ROLE
After playing one fairytale princess in Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart is portraying the most celebrated of them all: Diana, Princess of Wales.
She certainly looked the part in photos released last week (right), with the 30-year-old actress perfectly mirroring Diana’s look from Christmas Day 1993 (left).
Kristen plays Diana in the new film Spencer, which examines a pivotal weekend in the life of the royal as she makes the decision to end her marriage to the Prince of Wales.
Playing such a famous figure “made me stand to attention in the best way”, said the Twilight star, adding: “It’s hard not to feel protective of her.”
Unlike Diana, Kristen’s own love story looks set for a happy ending. She has been dating screenwriter Dylan Meyer since August 2019, with Dylan saying Kristen is “my absolute favourite person”.
As for the actress, she said: “The day that I met her, all bets were off. I was like: Where have I been and how have I not known you?’ She’s been living in LA alongside my life somehow but not ever converging.”
