EMR reveals further details of ‘Aurora’ trains

EAST Midlands Railway has released final details of the interior layout and seating for its Class 810 ‘Aurora’ bi-mode fleet which are starting to be built by Hitachi, Newton Aycliffe.

Financed by Rock Rail, 33 five-car sets are being constructed with the first sets due to enter service early in 2023.

Based on the Class 80x AT300 designs already in service, the Aurora sets are being seen
