Mitch wanted to know if we could surf in the morning and snowboard in the afternoon, with a couple of hours of adventure riding thrown in the middle. Our plan was to ride from a beach town on the NSW South Coast to Jindabyne, the gateway to the snow fields of Kosciuszko National Park. With the help of Bredbo adventure guru and industry icon Sprocket, we mapped a route from Gerroa in the Illawarra region to Charlotte Pass Snow Resort at the top of Kosciuszko National Park trying to hit as much dirt as possible. Mitch, his sensible brother Alex and I set out on a trio of adventure bikes with newbies Isaac and Jacob in tow, intent on answering the age-old question.
