CAN YOU BEET IT?

If there’s a plant on a plate that demands attention, it has to be beetroot. The deep red varieties, especially, refuse to be ignored. And there’s that smooth moist texture and its distinctively earthy flavour that shouts wholesome. Of course, these days beetroot amazes us in many ways with its different shapes, colours and nuances of flavour and, on top of that, it’s easy to grow and a great starter crop for beginners.
