    GEMMA & RICHIE’S BABY BLISS

    Seven months after announcing her retirement from hockey, former Black Sticks star Gemma McCaw has confimed she and hubby Sir Richie, 40, are preparing to welcome a second child, a younger sibling for two-year-old daughter Charlotte.

    “We are very excited to share with you all that we are expecting another baby,” the three-time Olympian wrote on Instagram. “We’re so happy and Charlotte can’t wait to be a big sister.”

    Gemma, 30, retired from hockey after the 2016 Olympics but, after becoming a mum, returned to the sport in November 2019 with a goal of competing in Tokyo in 2020. “No-one could’ve imagined a global pandemic getting in the way of that dream,” she says.
