THE S-TYPE Sport 200 is one of the most mysterious Jaguars that you’ve probably never heard of. For unless you were a Jaguar dealer in 2003, or were one of the lucky 200 alleged customers, then it was a car that appeared with little in the way of fanfare, wasn’t widely promoted and never saw the excitement of a press release or a brochure announcing its arrival. No, the Sport 200 was a car with automotive agoraphobia. It stayed hidden away, kept itself to itself and was rarely seen out in the street.
