When it comes to Paul Bacon builds, this one may seem a touch mundane. Far from it, though, as it’s just as innovative and creative as its predecessors, despite the more regular underpinnings and lack of a ’tron name.
In fact, this issue features two re-bodied London Taxi hot rods, one finished and the other a work in progress. And while the unfinished project focusses on making a body fit, the name of the game with this one is making a body to fit. On paper, that difference may only be one small word, but in reality it’s a whole different ball game.
The question though, is how much of what you see here is a Ford F-series pickup? The answer is nothing at all, and there’s not too much of the donor Taxi left either.
