now had a steady income stream, an apartment, and a Nissan Silvia S14 in Japan, but before we move on let’s rewind a few weeks. At this time my only mode of transport in my rice field–covered city was a rusty mamachari, the bike with a basket on the front which is usually ridden by older ladies. I spent my afternoons exploring my new city; after work I would hop on my mamachari and see what I could find. I came across many interesting things on my afternoon rides.
