CLARIFICATION ON THE LION
Dear Editor
With reference to the article on the sale of Fowler The Lion, I would like to state the following facts:
Arthur left a valid will. He left The Lion engine, two White steam cars and two model 10” gauge steam locomotives to his older brother Frank, who sadly died six months later. Frank’s wife Susan and two daughters inherited this collection and no part of the collection passed to the younger brother John.
Arthur’s will is now in the public domain and therefore all of the above facts can be verified. I formally request that you publish a correction in the next edition of Old Glory.
John Thomson, via e-mail
We are pleased to make this very clear - Ed.
