INTRODUCTION. My name is Ted Mitchell Snr I am 77years young and live in Flinders View, Qld. I am semi-retired, but work most days, either helping with some tree lopping, or making knives, which is now my passion.

 My first major hunting influence was probably Howard Hill. After watching his movies, I became an avid bow hunter and started making my own bows and arrows. Then I watched and brought a .22 when I was around 13 from the local shop. My Father’s tales from hunting in India also inspired me. It just escalated from
