3 Use strong sunlight to creative effect

Spending more time at home has given us a great opportunity to take full advantage of winter sunlight as a creative light source. In this project, we’re going to explore some ways to get the most from this kind of lighting, and experiment with camera settings to produce different styles of image.

At this time of year in the northern hemisphere, the sun is lower in the sky and casts long shadows, so if it’s a cloudless morning you’ll be
