    1 From Tal-y-bont take lane to Llanbedr-y-cennin. Fork L at first junction and go L at next minor junction. Continue to end of lane and open hillside.

    2 Fork R through gate to good track and walk ahead to gate with ladder stile. Continue on rough track through more gates and descend to sheepfold by Afon Ddu. Cross ladder stile and river, and fork R over next ladder
