We have now had, of all things, a debate on the burning of heather in Parliament. Quite what will come of that remains to be seen, but what really annoys me — and that is putting it mildly, by the way — is that an awful lot of people with degrees are ignoring the science because they don’t like what it is telling them. I should add to that they also have an alternative agenda, and it does not include fieldsports.
