Jogging down a country road on the beautiful Greek island of Crete, Suzanne Eaton picked up the pace.
It was July 2019, and Suzanne, 59, a prominent American scientist, had been invited to speak at an international conference on the island.
A keen runner and athlete, she was a woman of many talents.
She had a black belt in taekwondo, loved playing the piano and cooking.
