Walnut cracks it

“I ALWAYS dreamed of finishing on him with a clear round and a nice score,” said Matt Hicks after partnering 20 -year-old Sheepcote Walnut to a 69% grand prix win. “What a Christmas present!”

Although mindful of the horse’s age, Matt is not quite convinced that this was a last outing for the Sheepcote Wurlitzer gelding, with whom he teamed up nearly a decade ago.
