Technology from the aerospace industry often helps us in the bike industry. And it’s the same with ABS braking systems. ABS first came of age in the fledgling civil aviation scene of the 1920s. For a few years, daredevils, barnstormers and military pilots had taken the risks, but for the nascent passenger airlines of the time, risks had to be kept to a minimum for the paying passengers. After all, dead or scared passengers don’t come back.
