CHRISTMAS GREETINGS ROYAL FAMILIES HAVE FUN ON THE CARDS
Putting the heir in air mail, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall follow an annual tradition: sending out hundreds of Christmas cards featuring a carefully chosen photograph, often taken in an off-duty moment. And this year’s is perhaps the most relaxed yet, showing the pair casually dressed and sitting on a bench in the garden at Birkhall, their Scottish home (above left).
Prince Charles and Camilla are not the only royals taking a more low-key approach to their 2020 greeting. For their festive photocard, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain were happy to let their daughters Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía be the focus (above), while Jordan’s King Abdullah and Queen Rania were joined by their children (below left).
In Sweden, too, there was a family theme. In a video released to celebrate Advent (left), Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel ensured the starring roles went to Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar.
