BUYERS’ GUIDE
Weight limit: Check that the stretcher can support your weight.
Size: Keep in mind that a stretcher won’t fit in a compact dome tent. Most stretchers are designed for one person, but some are wider. And take length into account – you don’t want your feet hanging over the edge.
Portability: Aluminium frames are lightweight, durable and rust-resistant, but they can be costly. Steel frames are sturdy but heavier than aluminium.
Fabric: Opt for strong fabric – some offer padding for additional comfort.
