YOU WILL NEED
• Any DK cotton in the following shades: skin colour white sage green steel blue light blue black brown a small amount of pink
• A 2.5mm (US C/2) hook
• Stitch marker
• 2 safety eyes, 8mm
• Toy stuffing
• Tapestry needle
• 20cm (73/4in) of black coated wire
• Pliers
• Craft glue or black sewing thread
TENSION
Tension is not critical for this project, but it may affect the yarn quantities required
MEASUREMENTS
Rosa measures approx 20cm (7¾in) tall Rosa Parks was a campaigner for human equality. Her efforts and suffering made her one of the leaders of the civil rights movement, inspiring others with her dignity and bravery.
NOTES
Rosa is worked using the amigurumi method. Work in a continuous spiral without closing off each round with a slip stitch. You may find it helpful to place a marker in the first st of each round and move it up as you work.
