The test procedure

ur time spent testing unfortunately arose during the coronavirus pandemic, and to make matters worse, Rob Hawkins was self-isolated in his home and couldn’t venture beyond the front or back garden. Luckily, he had the fault code readers. We decided to start with plugging in each device and seeing how easy they were to use and navigate through all the menu options. Then we generated a couple of faults on the 107 by disconnecting the wiring plugs for the camshaft position sensor and the EVAP purge solenoid.
