Fly rugs

DURING THE SUMMER months many horse owners use a fly rug to provide their mount with protection from biting midges and flies, while also helping him to keep cool, comfortable and protected from the sun. These lightweight rugs are usually made from a close-knit mesh material that is lightweight and provides a protective barrier to stop flies biting. They can be used both in the stable and for turnout.
