Roast Chicken Platter

ROASTED chicken, roasted corn, carrots and onion, and wilted spinach accompanied by a green salad

ROAST CHICKEN: Whole chicken, cleaned and ready to roast. Season with salt and pepper only. Roast in the oven for 35 minutes on 165ºC. Remove from the oven and use a store-bought basting of your preference.

Roast in the oven for an additional 10 minutes on 190ºC to form a crispy crust. When you insert a skewer into the chicken, the juices should run clean. Then the chicken is cooked.
