SA’s leading cinema chains in difficulties

SOUTH Africa’s leading cinema chains continue to battle for business despite reopening more than two months ago.

While Ster-Kinekor has reported some growth since September, it says business is taking time to get back to sound trading levels. A big part of it, it says, is due to the lack of blockbuster content from Hollywood.
