According to The Vegan Society, the number of vegans in the UK quadrupled between 2014 and 2019.
As the demand for plant-based foods increased, popular fast-food chains and supermarkets began producing mainstream vegan food and drink.
In January 2020, over 650 new vegan products launched into the wider market.
The same month, 400,000 people worldwide signed up to the Veganuary movement.
That’s over 150,000 more people than 2019.
