Meet Hercule Van Wolfwinkle!

Emptying felt tip pens and crayons onto the table, I called out to my son Sam: ‘Come and write a thank you card for your grandparents!’

Huffing and puffing as any other six-year-old would, Sam wasn’t interested.

So, I started doodling our black Labrador Nala.

‘Why don’t you colour it in?’ I asked, trying to inspire him.

In no time, Sam had coloured in Nala and written the thank you card.
