The Best Multicooker for Your Money

If you’ve surfed the internet during the past five years, you’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot. When we tested multicookers a few years ago, the company’s main model, the Duo, excelled at pressure cooking, but it wasn’t powerful enough to slow-cook well (the chunks of beef in the stew made in it were still tough and chewy 11 hours later). Instead, we named the Zavor LUX LCD 8 QT Multi-Cooker and the GoWISE USA 8-Quart 10-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker/Slow Cooker our favorites; they were adept at both pressure- and slow-cooking food, they browned foods well, and they were easy to use.
