Muscle cramps are sudden, unintended contractions that happen in various muscles. These are often painful and are common when you haven’t been riding for a while, such as after a period in lockdown. Moto riders’ most commonly affected muscles include those in the back of the lower legs, the back of the thigh, front of the thigh, arms, toes and hands, but sometimes the cause is unknown.
