I furthered my studies in jazz at Technikon Natal (now UKZN) in 2001. This is where I met my mentor and multi-instrumentalist Bheki Mseleku. I later graduated in Stellenbosch with a Masters in music. I then moved to Johannesburg in 2006 where I worked with a diverse number of artists such as Lebo Mathosa, Voice, Mthunzi Namba, Oliver Mtukudzi, Zim Ngqawana, Zamajobe, Jimmy Dludlu and Busi Mhlongo among many other artists.
