Former Minister of Finance has been elected Chairperson of the board of directors of Bankmed. “Her experience in working under tough conditions, in addition to her thorough knowledge of Bankmed will allow her to play an effective role in directing the management of the bank in this delicate period,” read a statement from the bank. El Hassan, who was also a Minister of the Interior and Municipalities, and Chairperson of the Tripoli Special Economic Zone, had also served, as independent member, on various boards of directors of the Bankmed Group entities since 2011.
