Winter Rabbit Hunt

FINALLY, hunting had been classified as a low risk activity during lockdown and combined with a break from the bleak winter weather it was time to get the heck out of the house and into the countryside! Man, how good it was to be out of the lockdown bubble – freedom!

With an empty freezer I’d been forced to purchase stock for making soups whilst also consuming a regular feed of store bought sausages. As a hunter, it really goes against the grain when you have to part with money to purchase meat. Stuff that!

So with soup stock etc in mind I puffed my way up the ridge amid the cool winter
