GME – TX6160OXO Hand Held Radio

GME offers a large range of fixed and hand-held radios for land or marine communication and even emergency personal locator beacons for the safety conscious. For hunting or outdoor purposes, you can’t go past their TX6160OXO hand held in blazer orange.

This relatively compact unit features a classleading 5-watt transmission power for outstanding performance in an 80-channel UHF hand held unit. It’s blaze orange finish makes good sense also, as it’s a lot easier to spot if you happen to put it down. Add to this, if you wear it where it can be seen it acts as a safety item as it’s highly visible. Another excellent feature with this radio is the fact it offers 5/1 watt switchable. Transmission power and hence up to 30 hours battery life. The TX 6160OXO also features a built-in LED torch which is a very useful addition when making tracks before first light or on the return trip back after dark.
