ANIMAL DECORATIONS

You will need:

Clay of choice – earthenware or stoneware
Rolling pin, plastic sheet, roller guides – no thicker than 5mm
Card templates
Knife
Liquid underglaze colours
Brush for applying underglaze
Transparent glaze

DECORATION 1 - OWL

Prepare a block of your chosen clay – make it large enough to allow you to make several decorations in one go.

Working on the sheet of plastic, reduce the bulk of the clay by beating it with the side of your rolling pin. Work in measured, even strokes from one side
