As tears streamed down my face, I began to dial the number. I was told it might help, and nothing could make me feel worse than I already did, so I decided to give it a go.
‘Hello, you’ve reached the Samaritans helpline,’ a voice said.
‘I’m calling about Take That,’ I replied, spluttering out words between the tears.
