Road incidents on the rise once again

THE number of road incidents involving horses reported to the British Horse Society (BHS) has increased by 23% to 1,037 – but this could be just 10% of the total.
The BHS; the number is up from 845 in 2018-2019. As a result of the incidents reported, 80 horses and one person have died, and 136 horses and 135 people have been injured.
