Unlike other superhero titles, the storylines were dark and realistic, ripped from newspaper headlines (Middle Eastmovie. So fans of both Harley Quinn and Ostrander’s comic were thrilled when they learned Robbie was joining forces with acclaimed director James Gunn for next year’s sequel (of sorts) , which promises to be a much more cohesive, fun flick that pays proper respect to Ostrander’s original vision.
