Materials

• 2m (2¼yd) rust print fabric (alternate squares and Borders 2 and 3)
• 1.3m (1½yd) blue stripe print fabric (Borders 1 and 2)
• 60cm (¾yd) cream print fabric (alternate squares)
• Assorted scraps to total about 1.8m (2yd) (Odds and Ends blocks)
• 50cm (⅝yd) solid cream fabric (binding)
• 3.8m (4¼yd) backing fabric
• Batting at least 195cm x 190cm (78in x 75in)
• Rotary cutter, quilter’s ruler and mat
• Sewing machine with ¼in foot
• General sewing supplies

Cutting

From the rust print fabric, cut:

• nine strips, 3½in x• eight strips, 5½in x width of fabric (Border 3)
