Hey there, folks. How you doing? You good? How’s this crazy year, huh? Seems like the bad news avalanche will never cease. But have you seen that photo of the baby sloth called Kermie? If that doesn’t make you smile, I don’t know what could. Adorable.

Can we do things a little differently in this feature? I’m asking like I’m giving you a choice. This is kind of a stream of consciousness thing, so bear with me.

In this test of the KTM 390 Adventure, I don’t want to have to repeat that it’s not very fast compared to a 790 or Africa Twin. I’ve seen this done too many times and I’m left wondering if the writers have taken too many hits to the head. Take everything I say about the engine in context and in relation to the fact that it’s a 390, not a 700 or a 1050. How about we just let go of the holy grail of spec sheet numbers, in particular horsepower, and focus on whether this is a good bike, regardless of the fact that it doesn’t pump out 160 ponies. The
