From Los Angeles, we headed south on Interstate 5 and through San Clemente, the southernmost point of Orange County, and where the Pacific Ocean appears to the right – we were almost in San Onofre.
San Onofre State Beach, on the border of Orange and San Diego Counties, is a state park known worldwide as the Mecca of surf culture.
